Yes, we will skin, flesh, and dry your hide before it is tanned.  The extra charges for these services are listed in our price sheet. 

Yes, you are more than welcome to stop by the shop to drop off or pick up fur during business hours.  We are open Monday through Friday from 9 to 5.  If you decide to pick up your fur, we will remove the shipping charge. 

An invoice is created upon the arrival of your fur.  This invoice will be mailed to the address listed on your shipping document when the fur is completed.  When you receive the invoice, please provide a payment with a check, money order, or a credit card over the phone.  Once we receive your payment, we will ship your fur.  

No, we prefer to not receive any money upfront.  We make sure that your fur is tanned to our standards before you are charged. 

To save your furs from getting freezer burnt, we suggest that you freeze them fur out.  We suggest to roll the hide and place it in a bag or the box you intend to ship them in. 

Otter and Bobcat require CITES tags and must have them attached to the pelt or included with the shipment.  If furs are missing any required tagging, they will be turned into the DNR and dealt with accordingly. 

Our average turn around time is around 4-5 months, but this can vary depending on the time of the year.  Feel free to call if you would like our current turn around time. 

We do not have the required fur buying license to purchase from customers. 

This is a personal preference.  By removing the cartilage, the ears will be soft but lay back when the belt is hung on the wall.  By keeping the cartilage, the ears may be hard and my be deformed, but they will be easy to reform.
